Patrick is an invaluable member of the HYGEA team, driven by a deep passion for supporting
the community, particularly Medicaid clients in Maryland. His immense motivation and gratitude
for being part of this movement stem from a commitment to making a positive impact in a region
significantly affected by substance abuse. With recent studies highlighting Baltimore as the
world's capital for overdoses, Patrick feels privileged to work alongside like-minded individuals
who share his determination to combat substance abuse.
For Patrick, the most rewarding aspect of his job is being a catalyst for change in people's lives.
He cherishes the opportunity to witness individuals embark on their recovery journeys, finding
immense fulfillment in seeing the spark of hope and determination in their eyes as they progress
toward a sober life. Patrick's dedication is reflected in the countless lives he has touched and
the positive transformations he has facilitated.
With five years of experience in the field, personal experience with substance abuse, and
specialized training in substance abuse counseling from the Sober College of Addiction Studies,
Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to his role. His background equips him with
unique insights and a profound understanding of the challenges faced by those in recovery.
Outside of his professional life, Patrick is deeply involved in the recovery community. He
volunteers with Alcoholics Anonymous, maintains a rigorous exercise routine, and values
spending time with friends and family. Additionally, he actively participates in community
activities that support recovery in mental health and substance abuse.
