BIO

Amanda, a Program Director at Hygea Healthcare, brings over 15 years of healthcare experience, with 5 years dedicated specifically to addiction recovery. Born and raised in Baltimore, Amanda’s deep connection to the city fuels her passion for making a meaningful impact on her community. Witnessing Baltimore's challenges firsthand, she’s committed to addressing issues like addiction and access to quality healthcare through her work at Hygea.

She expresses that one of the most rewarding aspects of her role is guiding individuals through their recovery journey and seeing the profound transformations they undergo. Amanda finds fulfillment in being part of an organization that helps restore hope and rebuild lives.

Her dedication, extensive experience, and compassionate approach make Amanda an invaluable asset to the Hygea team. We are incredibly grateful for the empathy, leadership, and expertise she brings to our organization, helping to strengthen our programs and enhance the care we provide.

Amanda holds a Certification in Healthcare Management from the Community College of Baltimore County and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice/Legal Administration from Carroll Community College. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Legal Administration at the University of Maryland.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband, two sons, and their three dogs, and managing her sons' soccer and lacrosse teams. She is an avid stand-up paddle boarder and a passionate foodie, always eager to explore new culinary experiences.
